Trade Show Traffic Putting Game

TAGS: , , ,

I recently saw this game at Oracle Open World and it’s a great example of a simple game that can capture attention and attract booth visitors to your exhibit. It will cost you a little money but it will be totally worth it with all the trade show traffic you create. If you are a smart exhibitor you will be pitching your product/service and qualifying leads while they wait in line.

This is perfect for a 10’ x 20′ booth (or bigger) that doesn’t have much going on. It adds fun, excitement and best of all interest from attendees.

Here’s all you need to implement this unique Trade Show Traffic Putting Game:

  • Putter
  • Ball
  • Cash ($1, $5, $10, $20; numerous bills of each denomination)
  • Gift Cards (optional; you can see some of the low value gift cards close to the putting line in the video)
  • Tape (for starting line)
  • Space in the booth to putt the balls

That’s it!

I witnessed a consistent line of people waiting to play all day long each and every day of the show. In fact I saw a number of people get right back in line to try again. Depending on how much you are spending on the winners you may want to curtail that behavior but then again, having that line up of people is what makes people want to line up.

Try it out and let me know how it works for you.
