Veeam Gets A Virtual Trade Show Booth Face-lift

Virtual trade show technology hasn’t improved for over a decade. If you have been on any of the digital events in the last while you’ll quickly realize this.

For both Cisco Live and VeeamOn, Veeam Software decided to emulate the interactive features of their real life booth in a virtual format. They partnered with their Exhibit provider The Taylor Group and Engagify to duplicate the look and feel of physically visiting the booth.

All the elements are there. The demo pods, the presentation theater, the registration counter. You can even get your free t-shirt (which is shipped right to you) when you leave your name and address.

You can even watch message integrated magic. Engagify’s founder and CEO Anders Boulanger has been Veeam’s Infotainer for almost 10 years now. Combining the Veeam message with interactive demonstrations has been a tried and true method for generating crowds, leads and engagement for Veeam Software.

Veeam’s Director of Global Trade Shows, Lori Crocker said “He’s such a big part of our booth experience we just had to include him somehow.”

Anders’ “avatar” and video presence acts as a host and tour guide on the initial fly-by of the booth. Boulanger says, “The problem with virtual trade shows is that the human element is so far removed that it’s critical you have human faces so that your virtual booth visitors can feel connected.”

As digital and hybrid events continue to be popular, you are going to see many companies raise their game in order to compete for the much wanted attention in the digital space.
